Closed-shoulder drive block. 20.5 mm — the deepest tread in the range.
A closed shoulder keeps rubber in contact instead of letting block edges chew themselves at the tread edge, and at 20 – 20.5 mm this is the deepest tread Rockland lists. It is the pattern for drive axles that run paved most of the week and still have to pull off the tarmac at either end of the load.
