Five-rib highway pattern. The widest size and load coverage in the range.
D601 is the pattern to standardise on when one casing has to cover a whole paved fleet. Five continuous ribs, 17 mm of tread across the 22.5" sizes, and a ply-rating ladder that runs 14PR to 20PR — so the same tread can be specified at 2,800 kg or at 4,000 kg per tyre without changing what the fitters see.
